Sustainability of CBC FOR MAST EDUCATION “Hristo Botev” Secondary school, town of Tutrakan

After the completion of the project in the academic year 2019 - 2021, 3 groups of students were formed and worked in interest classes in different classes, with colleagues who participated in the project:
1. "Digital competences in MAST" for students from 5th and 6th grades, headed by Anna Georgieva;
2. "Visual programming with MAST" in 8th grades, headed by Anna Georgieva;
3. "Robotics and Applied Electrical Engineering in MAST" in 9th grade, headed by Eng. Snezha Dancheva.
 
We also participated in the Project of "Education for Tomorrow" with two circles groups, where colleagues and students increased their digital competences:
1. "Digital competences in MAST" for students from 5th and 7th grades, headed by Iliana Stoykova;
2. "Digital competences in MAST" for students from 8th and 10th grade head Marina Georgieva.
 
The resulting equipment is used in various natural sciences and IT. Different figures of 3D printers are made for charity campaigns and bazaars.

The multifunctional device is used for printing diplomas, thank-you addresses and the school newspaper "Izgrev", which is published for 24 May - Day of Bulgarian Culture and Slavic Writing.

Robots are used by students in circles who demonstrate their capabilities to younger students at school to provoke them and participate in similar groups.
In the school year 2020-2021, the following were re-formed:
2 interest groups under nationally funded, including other teachers:
- "In the Maze of Mathematics" for 7th grade, headed by Rositsa Kichukova;
- Digital Creativity at 4:00. headed by Anna Georgieva.
1 group under the Project of the State Security "Education for Tomorrow":
- "Digital competences in MAST" for students from 5th grade and 7th grade headed by Ivelina Ivanova.
During the same school year, the school applied and was approved under the National Academy of Science and Science "Building a school STEM/ environment".

All new computer cabinets and equipped offices of natural sciences and mathematics have been built and equipped for a total amount of BGN 277 778.00.

Together with the equipment under the project "Coordination of joint policies and equipment in the field of education in the cross-border region" under the VA-Romania Bulgaria Programme and through our inclusion in the
National Social Security Agency (NP) we have created an excellent educational environment in the school, where students develop their creativity, learn to think and solve different problems.

In the current school year 2021 -2022, 5 new groups are working in the field of sciences and IT:
1. "Information Technology for 1.b grade", by Emilia Sharbanova.
Thematic area - technology and technology;
2. "RoboKids" 5-6th grade, head Anna Georgieva.
Thematic area - digital creativity, programming and robotics.
3. "Stem Center Game Development" for students from 8th up to 12th grades headed by Anna Georgieva. Thematic area - digital creativity, programming and robotics;
4. "Robotics and built-in systems" for students from 8th up to 12th grades, head of Eng. Snezana Dancheva. Thematic area - digital creativity, programming and robotics;
5. "Natural Laboratory" at 6th grade leader Natalia Gencheva. Thematic sciences, physical, chemical and earth sciences.

As a result of the efforts of the management and the team, we applied with a project and under the National Social Security Fund to be approved for an innovative school, introducing a new subject of 5th grade curriculum: "Robotics and programmable devices".

As a result of the work of teachers and students over the years, the prize places of the students from the school in a variety of regional and national competitions and Olympiads in computer modeling and information technology have been won.
