In the Workshop created at the level of Călăraşi Economic College, within the CBC for MaST Education project, we proposed the creation of some mini clubs for the realization of the activities of the project in order to reach the proposed objectives.
Enthusiasts, full of energy and curiosity, the students of the Club started in a competition to realize projects, models, installations, which can verify certain theories and that we can use in school hours, to increase their attractiveness.
At Calarasi Economic College, the students participated in the following activities:
Involvement of Robot KID in the formation of students Robots encourage students to think creatively, to analyze situations and to use critical thinking in solving real-world problems. Teamwork and cooperation are the basis of any robotics project. Students learn that it is acceptable to make mistakes, especially if this leads to better solutions.
The application "DEMOMATh" is a mathematical simulator based on the first and second degree mathematical equations, but also systems of equations. Of course, the vast majority of people do not need to know anything about equations, because others will be the ones to master them. And the latter will have the information and the power.
But it would not hurt at all that people know that life, nature, society, are subject to laws that are expressed through equations. And these equations are objective, that is, whether we want to or not. People just discovered them, applied them and used them to make our lives better.
"Discovery the sound" - Discovery of sound
Knowing that in the vacuum, the sounds do not propagate we wanted to demonstrate this through two didactic materials made by students in the physics laboratory. The sound is transmitted by the oscillating motion of the air particles. Because the air is invisible, we have shown that an apparatus can be built that illustrates this phenomenon "The bell that does not ring" and "The vacuum chamber"
In our cross-border project 'CBC For MaST Education', we, students have created a special framework to enhance the creative capacity. We were able to develop with the Bulgarian partners, the field of MAST-mathematics, science and technology the two well-defined sides within it: the practical side and the theoretical one.
